The Eternal “You”

This is some piece of writing which I had done when I was in twelfth standard and really close to my heart. Hope you like it as well

The spirit in your heart shall ever prosper,
With the glitter in you that never fades.
The “ YOU” in you shall travel higher,
With the spectrum of your wisdom kept inspired for challenges.

The heavy tide of time shall stay back;
To follow the galloping “you”.
Your transparency shall leave it’s footprints;
To assist the flowers that are yet to bud.

The roughness of the earth shall be smoothened;
By the steepness of your attitudes.
Your indispensable presence shall grace every occasion;
And transverse the multitude of challenges into ever blossoming triumphs.

The steady motion of the world will be left behind with your graceful thoughts
For, the world is awaiting for you to react;
To act upon the world with all your might.

To leave your aura, to leave your mark behind;
As the world waits for the solution you find.
Challenging every opposition, every weather
To leave behind a “YOU” forever.

The whispers from nowhere

The following poem was one written by me when I was under a lot of pressure…

My head is held low with several conflicting ideas;
I whimpered with the words they spoke.
No tranquillizer did ever help me feel calm,
I stay still under every opposition.

Their discourteous words left my heart shrunken.
My autistic presence made them remarkably authoritative,
The flair of my thoughts is lost in the flagrancy that beholds me.
My heart wandered through all these awful evils….

Then, a soul resembling a paranormal gesture approached me,
I was paralyzed with the gentility it projected.
It pacified my emotions and mitigated the evils of my awful thoughts,
Its resignation was however now correctly justified.

So, do simplify the judgments you make,
As it is this factor which will stimulate your true worth.
A time will come for one and all,
The resolution you make is the factor that counts...

The Glory of Success

An opposition is critical
An applause is crucial,
An argument is inevitable
All this.... what for? You might ask!

The taste of success is bitterly sweet
The path is inspiring and challenging
But mind you, it is not everlasting!

The quest for excellence makes you set back
for the new faces yet to come..
Everything is special, everything unique.

Once you let your thoughts conquer your dream,

you have a unique possession...
to behold with contemplation!

With that, never stop.. widen your thoughts,
imagination and dreams...
Widen your thoughts for your loved ones,
be imaginative to construct a better world and
cherish your dreams for a sparking tomorrow.

The glory of success is at your feet.
Now just think, act and command with this WILL!

An Indian author I admire.......

Chetan Baghat.... A great inspiration for budding writers!!

For those of you who haven't yet heard of Chetan Baghat, let me give you a brief description...
Yes, an Indian writer... he is simply a genius who has indeed inspired many souls through his books...
 An IIT/IIM graduate, who has so far written five books... precisely five BESTSELLERS!
They are  Five Point Someone, One Night @ the Call Center, The 3 Mistakes Of My Life, 2 States & Revolution 2020...

What is so special about his books??
I think he has a very distinct writing style which makes readers ever so engrossed! The simplicity of the language, the mode of narration... everything gives it a unique touch and pleasing style.. My favorite out of the lot is- 2 states!
There is indeed an inspirational factor in his books which i love and just can't stop admiring. The conviction that life is not something to be taken seriously is an additional boost for the youngsters to have an entire new perception, in fact deviating from those extra-cautious tutoring of elders and parents... The seemingly impossible things just become possible through just making your mind go light!.... And, yes!!! His books indeed play a vital role at that!

A Best friend's poem....... An ideal start!!

The following poem is not my creation... it's one written by one of my best buddies.. Anita.. Of course she has a very long way to go!! I was tagged in this poem in Facebook....

1. Bonded For Life

( To all my friends, for their love, care, support and motivation........and all those

cherished moments we spent together...)

They stood by my side through smiles

They stood by my side through pain

They stood by my side through fear

And never once asked for a gain.

They led me through the path of goodness

My mistakes they made me see

They cared not for the looks or money

But for the person I have in me.

They became a major part of my laughter

How lucky I am! they made me think

They shared with me moments most pleasant

Drawing sweet memories with permanent ink.

Together we discussed matters of the heart

Together we discovered the wrongs and rights

Together we build dreams and planned our future

Together we solved our silly fights.

And now the time to part has arrived

Each one having to go their own way

No matter where we go, we'll carry the bag of frienship

Holding this bond together, until our life's last day.

2.  Will You Spare Me?

Tall and mighty I stand with my friends,

Trying to reach out and touch the sky.

I watch the clouds move free and happy,

They're always busy traveling, I wonder why.

I dance to the rhythm of the soothing wind,

Whose every touch raise my spirits high.

I'll grab the soil firm if the wind went wild,

And stand a natural roof for every passerby.

Overwhelmed with joy, I permit a little bird,

To build upon my hands her soft cozy nest.

I make a silent promise that during angry weather,

To protect her delicate one's, I'll always do my best.

Water gushes out through the doors of heaven,

As an instant reply to my call.

And sprays its coolness over the hills and plains,

Helping life to grow steady and tall.

I await with immense pride and patience,

As the sweet ones I bear grow day after day.

To satisfy the hunger of both men and beasts,

I readily though painful give them away.

I wonder with grief how long would it take,

Before I feel the cutter's axe piercing me.

With my existence restricted I just can't imagine,

What life on this earth would be.

To those who can think and work on their thoughts,

This is what I would like to say;

Spare me today and I shall prove to you

That tomorrow will be a much brighter day.
